Description:These are a pair of tole peintre [painted sheet iron] whistling decoy partridge, with detailed plumage. They each stand on three supports with a mesh grill aperture to the breast. They are thought to be British and date from the late 19th century. Height 240mm, Length 145mm, Width 95mm and Height 225mm, Length 176mm, Width 100mm
