United States of America silver-copper half dime, 1833
Diameter 15mm
The obverse features the draped bust of Liberty facing left wearing the Liberty Cap, she is flanked by seven stars to her left and six to her right representing the original thirteen Anglo-American colonies. The reverse features an eagle bearing a striped shield, it holds three arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right. The denomination is below, five cents being equal to a half dime. Above is a banner bearing the American motto 'E Pluribus Unum', meaning 'From many, one' and above that the inscription 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'.
