English bronze medal, c.1910-1936

Medal awarded by George V for service in the Special Constabulary. The obverse features the bust of George V facing left with the inscription 'GEORGIUS V BRITT. OMN:REX ET IND:IMP:', 'George V King of all the Britains and Emperor of India'. The reverse features the inscription 'FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SPECIAL CONSTABULARY' with a wreath visible below and to the right. The medal is attached to a white, black and red ribbon by a straight set suspension bar.
