Description:This is a limestone figure of the Egyptian god Thoth. Thoth was the divinity of wisdom and scribe to the gods. His sacred animals were the Ibis and the baboon and he could take the form of either animal. In this figure he is depicted in his most common form as an Ibis headed man.
