Description:This hair ornament is listed in the Accession Register as being from the Gold Coast, but was later thought to be Zulu. It is carved from a flat piece of wood. The head of the comb is decorated with incised diamonds and lines, and piercing. The old museum label on the comb reads, "Gold Coast / Ladies hair / comb".
