Description:A black stained and polished (japannae) wooden stand, ornately turned with a silver band around the bottom. There is a small oval plaque mounted on the side, bearing an engraved inscription. The base has a varnished cloth covering. The stand was used to hold an ornate silver punch bowl trophy, 1 January 1884.
