Description:Common Places of Christian Religion. Printed in London by Henry Bynnman, 1578. Gathered by Wolfgangus Musculus, etc. Translated out of Latine into English by John Man of Merton Colledge in Oxforde etc. Originally at Barcheston church. [The German born Protestant theologian Musculus lived from 1497 - 1563. He wrote a number of religious treatises, three of which are printed in this volume. The coat of arms has not been identified, but is probably that of his patron. The book was presented to Barcheston Church by Thomas Horton, rector 1631 - 1639.He paid 9 shillings for it.]
