Description:This is an oil painting on canvas depicting a farmer and his wife returning from market. There is a painted inscription along the bottom which reads 'Returning from a bad market, Butter only one and nine'. There is also a label on the farmer's back saying 'I Hate To see People Grinning!'. Framed size Height 598mm, Width 724mm, Depth 40mm
