Description:This is an oil painting on paper which is lined (backed) onto canvas and depicts a view of the High Street in Musselburgh, Scotland. There is a signature and date in the bottom right corner of the canvas which reads 'T. Collier 1873'. In 1881 there are records telling of a Thomas Collier, painter, who was born in Musselburgh and then lived in Edinburgh. Framed size 65.5 x 91 cm
