Description:This is a galvanised iron four-quart oil can, later painted in the manner of bargeware with stylised foliate ornament on a black background. The original oil can marks are stamped on the reverse, showing that it comes from America and dates from the second quarter of the 20th century. Height 322mm, Width 250mm, Depth 170mm
