Description:This silver trowel was presented to Reverend A Nicholson when he laid the foundation stone for the Gymnasium at Leamington College on the 27th July 1891. It has a fluted white plastic handle and is shaped and elaborately engraved with a moulded foliage tang.
The inscription reads 'Presented / To The / Rev. A. Nicholson L.L.D. / On The Occasion Of Laying / The First Stone Of The / Leamington College / Gymnasium / July 27th 1891.'
