Description:This book belonged to Mary Ellen Entwhistle, a student teacher at Lillington School. When she was a student, Mary was expected to make detailed notes of the lessons she was to give. This exercise book contains the lesson plans for needlework lessons. The page on the left has a pattern for a girl's flannel petticoat and the page on the right contains a diagram of a barrowcoat. Mary qualified as a teacher in 1901.
