The obverse is extensively worn. The image within the central beaded ring is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a crowned lion rampant bearing a sword in its right fore paw and a bundle of seven arrows in its left on a shield bearing fifteen smaller shields. The coat of arms divides the date, and the mintmarks of Utrecht, a sword and caduceus, are below left and right. The inscription around the outside is illegible. The reverse features script in Arabic within the central beaded ring and script, possibly Tamil, around the outside. This side is also extensively worn.
