Birmingham silver medal, 1907

Medal struck to award to the winners of the Leamington Hospital Senior Cup. The obverse features the coat of arms of Leamington Spa, a shield bearing eight fleur-de-lys and an escutcheon bearing a lion rampant with three stars above and a chevron in front. Around the outside is a garter, bearing the words 'LEAMINGTON HOSPITAL SENIOR CUP', flanked by two leaf shaped mouldings, with a third on top supporting a loop for suspension. A fourth moulding below has a pierced hole. The reverse features the inscription '1908-9/ WINNERS/ - T.S. -'. Below are three hallmarks, the makers stamp 'V&S', the City of Birmingham marks of the anchor and the lion, and the date mark 'h' for 1907.
