Description:This Gurkha's knife with sheath is known as a kukri. The knife has a curving metal blade and a wooden handle. It has engraved decoration along the blunt edge and on a metal plate at the end of the handle. The sheath is made from black leather with a red leather decoration. The knife has an old museum label attached to the handle. The label now forms part of the history of the knife.
