Description:A view of the South Front of Warwick Castle, looking over the River Avon.

The mill is at the riverside towards the right of the photograph. The large arched windows indicate the location of the state rooms, the venue for a great deal of pomp and ceremony throughout the castle's past.

This photograph was taken by H.T. Cooke, Warwick publisher, in 1880.
