Description:
Black and white photograph of Leamington Spa, 1881-1930.
Winter scene looking east across the Parade towards Euston Place. The tramlines on the Parade help us date this picture to the late 19th Century - early 20th Century. Euston Place was built in 1834 and became one of the most desirable residential addresses in Leamington. It's situation in the very centre of the town, however, meant that the houses were gradually turned into shops.
