Description:An English earthenware watering pot from Westminster. The pot was used to water the front of shops. It is globular in shape with a wide opening at the top and a covering over half the mouth. It is thumbed at both edges and at the base of the spout there is a rose. The pot is red-brown in colour and there is a yellow-green glaze on the rose and spout.
