Text-based work with both hand-written and printed text in black ink. A small ink drawing, in black, in the top right corner depicting the sun and sea. The text reads:
"THESE eight linocuts were made by Terry Frost between August and October 1989. They were proofed and editioned by hand on a Columbian press in Cornwall and London by Vivien Hendry. Hand colouring on the prints was done by the artist. There are forty sets of the eight prints, each signed and numbered by the artist 1 to 40. In addition there are five proof copies. They have been printed on 225gsm Zerkall paper. The first thirty sets are presented in portfolio cases designed by the artist and made by Charles Gledhill. They include a colophon page designed by the artist, with typography by Phil Abel and printed by him at Hand + Eye Printing. Published by Charles Booth-Clibborn under his imprint The Paragon Press in 1989. This set is number [blank] of 30 portfolios. Copyright Terry Frost and The Paragon Press."
