Diameter 28mm

The obverse features the Elephant and Castle with the inscription 'COVENTRY HALFPENNY'. The reverse features Lady Godiva on horseback with the date below and the inscription 'PRO BONO PUBLICO', Latin meaning 'For The Public Good'.
