View looking west down the High Street, Leamington Spa. Curtis' Baths are to the right. These baths were built over the third saline spring to be discovered in Leamington Spa in 1790. The Crown Hotel is to the left. This building was originally constructed in 1808 as a Vicarage. The image can be dated from between 1815 and 1847 when Curtis' Baths were demolished to make way for the railway bridge. There are people walking along the pavements and on the road and there is also one horsedrawn carriage.
