Description:This wool and silk picture shows the yacht 'Sunbeam' which was built in 1874 and scrapped in 1929. She was a 323-ton screw, composite, three-masted schooner, and one of the first yachts to sail around the world. The artist was a gunner in the Royal Artillery. Size when stitched onto conservator's card: 615 x 635mm
