Description:This is an oil painting on panel depicting the English fleet, including HMS Victory and HMS Kent, lying off the coast of Plymouth. It was painted by an artist from the English Provincial School, between 1780 and 1790. There are many figures in the foreground, including men carrying barrels, two dogs and a carriage with horses.
