Description:High Street, Napton on the Hill showing the Crown and cars parked on the street. 1960s [The land rover in the picture still exists and belongs to a local farmer. The Mk 1 Cortina was an estate version and belonged to a Mr Shinner. In the distance at the bottom of the green, partly obscured by the telegraph pole, is a Standard Vanguard that belonged to Bert Bridgewater of The Bank House, High Street. On the footpath opposite is a black labrador called Tinker. He belonged to Mrs Payne, wife of the late Alfred Payne, who lived at The Rosary, High Street.]
