The location is Napton Bottom lock, commonly known as the Folly which was the former location of the Public house called the Bull and Butcher.][The man working on the left hand towpath is most likely Esme Dowling, employed by British Waterways at Napton. The photograph was most likely taken from the Folly Bridge No.113 at Napton Bottom Lock looking north.]
