Description:Windmill, Norton Lindsey. 1900s

Preserved small,(42ft (c.12.8m) high 18ft (c.5.5m) base diameter), 3 storey, red brick tower with slight batter built c.1795. Had 4 common sails. Steam power added 1889. Last worked 1906.

Two stocks with fragments of common sails, boat cap with luffing wheel at tail, 2 pairs stones & all main machinery with pulley wheel on outside for steam drive.

New cap 1977.
