Description:Workers in the tile kilns, Napton on the Hill. On the left a continuous strip of clay is cut into lengths. It is then carried to the cutting machine (man with 4in hand). The cutting machine then cuts them into 'bats' which are being piled into barrow. 1950s [The person loading the tiles onto the barrow is Jack Rowberry.]
