Description:Bilton Infants' School in Bilton, Rugby. The Rev Langton Freeman, Rector of Bilton, who died 1783, left £400 to establish a charity school. In 1841 a new school was erected by the rector, the Rev Thomas John Parker, the old school being converted into the school house. A portion of this school still exists, with a tablet stating "Erected by the Rector 1841". In 1891 the school was enlarged and a new house built for the master. It continued as a village school until 1951, when it became an infants' school. 1950s
