Description:British penny.

The obverse has a bust of Queen Victoria facing left. The inscription reads, "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA 1858". On the reverse is a depiction of Britannia and the inscription reads, "BRITTANNIAR : REG : FID : DEF" :, which is Latin abbreviated meaning, 'Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith'.
