Description:This Escalado game was given to Allan Jennings when he was aged six. He often played the game with his friends when it was too wet to go outside. The game was lots of fun and was enjoyed by different generations of the Jennings family for over 40 years.
Escalado by Chad Vallery first became popular in Britain in the 1920s. In the game each player places a wager on a horse. The handle at the end is turned to create vibrations which move the horses across the course. The winner is the person whose horse crosses the line first.
