Description:Postcard sent on 28 June 1918 from Jack to Et. It has a silk mesh insert which is decorated with two emboidered lions either side of a shield and crown. "Souvenir de Belgique" is embroided on the obverse. The silk mesh insert forms a pocket, which lifts up, and there is a printed card within it which reads "Yours for ever". This is known as an insert card.

This card was sent to Ethel May Harrison (nee Tims). She had two brothers, Jack and Fred, who were both killed in action in World War One. They are named on the Leamington Spa War Memorial. They wrote to Ethel regularly during the war, as well as sending her souvenirs from France, such as a handkerchief and cloth case.
