Description:
Bodkin used by Richard Dodd at Hall & Son tailors, Leamington Spa. It has a flat pointed shape with a hole at the end.
Before stitching a garment properly, tailors would sew it loosely with a tacking stitch. This bodkin was used to remove the tacking stitch after a fitting.
