Description:Letter written by Anna Jarrett of Camerton House, Somerset, and sent to her brother, Thomas, a diplomat with the British Legation in Athens.

Anna writes of family matters, including her hope that Thomas (who she addresses simply as 'Wathen') might find a wife with the right virtues and principles, her regrets at his apparent intention to reside abroad and her fears of getting old and ugly, aged 32. She also mentions that things are going well for their younger brother, Ernest (Curate of Bishop's Tachbrook) and his wife, Louisa.
