Description:Copied from a series of views in India drawn by Captain Luard, Sixteenth Lancers [published London, 1838], providing the meaning of the word 'Waller' or 'Wallah, in Hindustani, which equates to 'fellow', with examples of its application in several phrases, with particular reference to 'Sonnah Waller', who works gold at people's house for one shilling a day
