Description:A humourous pencil sketch that appears in an album of newspaper cuttings and signatures belonging to the Wise family. The album contains material dating from 1813 - 1871. This sketch is entitled 'Mr George Wise as he will appear at Stoneleigh when backing out before the Queen' and probably dates from 1858. George Wise inherited the Woodcote Estate, Leek Wootton, from his father, Henry Christopher Wise, in 1883.
