Description:Manuscript book, "A Survey of the Priory, Woodloes, Lillington and Moreton Estates Situate in the Parishes of St Mary and St Nicholas, Warwick, Wootton, Lillington and Moreton Morrell in the County of Warwick, the property of Henry Christopher Wise Esqr.", by Thomas Phillips, 1803.
The plans are coloured, identifying numbered plots and detailing parish boundaries, buildings, gardens, trees, names of owners of adjoining properties: the surveys which follow them include the plot numbers, field names and quantities (i.e. acres, roods and perches), with the names of tenants, and have amendments in pencil.
This image shows Priory Park and Grounds in the parishes of St Mary and St Nicholas Warwick, 1802, held in hand, and in the tenures of Mr Parker, Matthew Wise, Miss Fisher, Mr Allen, Mr Perkins and William Birch.
