Description:
A black and white photograph, by Maurice W. Mead, of a night scene during the Lights of Leamington in the Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa. The photograph shows the lake illuminated with a bandstand on the far side, with a pianist playing. The first Lights of Leamington was the town's contribution to the Festival of Britain in 1951. It then took place every summer until 1961.
