Description:Clopton Bridge, Stratford upon Avon. 1920s

[The object in the river is believed to be a German Howitzer. It was thrown over the bridge parapet in June 1919, after news of the signing of the Peace Treaty reached Stratford. It stayed in the river for about a year.]
