Description:An ancient large circular pot from Peru, brought from Lima in 1880.

The pot is Chimu reduction fired blackware, with a rounded base and a wide flaring rim. There are two loops at the side of the neck, and the sides are decorated by moulded friezes. It was made c.900-1476.
