This is a length of ribbon celebrating the life of the Prince Consort, Prince Albert (1819 - 1861), showing two castles and a portrait of the prince woven in black.
Prince Albert was the husband and consort of Queen Victoria. He died of typhoid fever on the 14th December 1861.
