Arthur William Patrick Albert, Duke of Connaught (1850-1942) was a member of the British Royal family. He was created Duke of Connaught and Strathearn and Earl of Sussex in 1874. From 1911 to 1916 he served as Governor General of Canada. He also had the title of Field Marshal, High Commissioner in the Mediterranean and Inspector General of the Forces. In 1879 he married Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia and they had three children.
