Description:Sampler by Mary Woldram consisting of a long rectangular piece of canvas embroidered with the alphabet in lower and upper case letters, flowers, and a crown at the bottom. Samplers were considered to be a good way for children to learn needlework techniques and demonstrate their ability. They were often completed by very young children.
