Description:Black and white photograph, Leamington Spa, c.1951-1961.
View inside a marquee called the 'Leamside Inn' in the Jephson Gardens. The marquee was put up during the Lights of Leamington, a festival held every summer (July - October) from 1951 to 1961. The first Lights of Leamington was the town's contribution to the festival of Britain. There are tables and chairs set up for customers at the bar. To the right is a large illuminated map of Warwickshire and its neighbouring counties. To the left, on the far wall, is an illuminated picture of Kenilworth Castle. This photograph was produce by Blinkhorns of Banbury.
