This print depicts a view looking north up The Parade with the Regent Hotel to the right. The Parade entrance was not added until 1849. The Bedford Hotel (1811-1858) is to the left where HSBC stands today. There are people walking up and down The Parade and one horsedrawn carriage. A man is sweeping the street in the foreground to the right.
