Description:Loading "Howitzer Battery", a horse, onto railway wagon with military personnel, Rugby Station. 11 August 1914 ["Howitzer Battery" refers to the army unit and not the horse. Members of the 5th Howitzer Battery, part of the 4th South Midland (Howitzer) Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, loading one of the Battery's horses onto a wagon at Rugby Station, before the Battery's departure for Swindon.]
