Description:

Argentina - Buenos Aires copper decimo, 1823


Diameter 23mm


The obverse features the date with 'BUENOS AIRES UN DECIMO' inscribed around within a full wreath. The reverse features the coat of arms of Argentina - an oval with the sun rising above and bearing two hands joined in front of a staff topped by the Phrygian, or liberty, cap. This is all within a half wreath which is tied at the base with a bow.
