The obverse features the bust of Lorenzo Snow (1814-1901), the fifth President (1898-1901) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The inscription reads 'LORENZO SNOW/ AN APOSTLE OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS'. The reverse features the legend 'LIST/ YE NATIONS/ BY THIS TOKEN/ KNOW THAT YOUR/ REDEMPTION/ IS NIGH'. This inscription is surrounded by fifteen five-pointed stars, and the date is below.
