Description:This gourd bottle is from Liberia. The gourd has decorative carving over it's surface. The hook at one end is pierced. There is an old museum label attached to the bottle, it reads: "GOURD WITH STOPPER / Collected by Mr. E. C. Holland, / and presented by Mr. W. Carrington / of Harbury." This label is now part of the history of the gourd.
