Description:Brachiopod shells, Stiphrothyris tumida.

Middle Jurassic: Clypeus Grit Member,
Cross Hands Quarry, Long Compton.

These shellfish anchored themsleves to other shells via a 'stalk' attached to the small hole on the underside.
