Description:Part of a page of the marriage register, Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon, recording the marriage of Thomas Quiney and Shakespeare's daughter, Judith.

Judith, Shakespeare's daughter, was just thirty-one on her marriage to a local vintner, Thomas Quiney: he was twenty-seven. This marriage, shortly before Shakespeare's death, led to his making changes in his will, especially when it came to light a month later that Quiney had recently fathered an illegitimate child. Both mother (Margaret Wheeler) and child were buried on the same day (15 March).
